Little Sprouts Early Learning Center - A State-of-the-Art Daycare Center and Preschool in Newton, New Jersey

The B. Douglas Gordon & Elizabeth Houskeeper Gordon Little Sprouts Early Learning Center is an expansive childcare and preschool facility which offers space for 83 children, ages 6 weeks to six years, in fully-staffed, state-of-the-art surroundings. The Center is conveniently located in Newton, New Jersey, and is easily accessible from towns throughout Sussex and Warren Counties.

Separate classrooms are available for each age group, from infancy through preschool. Fully qualified teachers are present in each classroom and the child-teacher ratio adheres to or exceeds standards set by the state of New Jersey. There is an all-purpose room for indoor play and parent presentations, as well as a sick room for children who may fall ill during the day. Two outdoor playgrounds are available with age-appropriate equipment for our little sprouts.

Creative Curriculum, the curriculum approved by the State of New Jersey and endorsed by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, is used in all classrooms to help children learn important skills in math, literacy, science, social studies, the arts, and technology.

We are proud to offer the National School Lunch Program, providing nutritionally-balanced, low-cost or free lunches to eligible children each school day. All types of subsidized daycare are accepted, including New Jersey Cares for Kids and Work First New Jersey.
